Kauai: The Garden Island
Northshore of the Hawaiian island of Kauai. Some years ago, I fell in love with Kauai. We now own a resort rental condominium with 2 bedrooms and two baths. All of the rooms look out, on to the ocean. I have included some of our favorite pictures of this island PARADISE.
If an Hawaiian vacation is in your future, please call or E-mail me. A brochure can be viewed in "Preferred Partners" on the bottom of the "Main Page" or by visiting: www.hollyskauaicondo.com. Or, just call me to talk about the island.
Above is a picture of Bali Hai, at sunset, from a lookout near the Princeville Hotel My then 4 year old daughter Nicole (now 8 yrs) and me enjoying a cool tropical drink at the Princeville Hotel luau. Vicki and I are enjoying lunch in Hanalei -- Nicole took the picture. Nothing like a burger at Bubba's, after a morning of snorkeling! Nicole and her "back-up dancers" at our favorite luau Anini Beach A convenient, beautiful and "kid friendly" beach. Good swimming and snorkeling. Tunnel Beach Tunnel Beach (named for the lava tunnels) is one of the best for snorkeling and one of the more picturesque. Lumahai Beach Lumahai Beach was made famous in the movie version of the musical, SOUTH PACIFIC. It is a beautiful beach and a glorious day --- where are all the people? This IS Paradise! Makai course at Princeville Kauai has some of the best golf courses in Hawaii. Entrance to Princeville Resort Our property is located within the planned resort community of Princeville, on the beautiful northshore of Kauai Our condo No stairs into or within our 2nd level unit. All rooms look out to the ocean. The balcony runs along the back and the side. Vicki looking for migrating whalesView from the living roomView of the kitchen & dining areaSunrise from condo balconySunset from our propertyA sunset over Hanalei Bay and Bali Hai This is one of our favorite locations at sunset. Luau time! We never fail to enjoy one or more luaus during every visit. Anyone can kayak In June of 2004, we all took our first kayak trip. What fun. Nicole, age 7, soon "took the point", but then fell back, when I asked if she had seen any crocodiles (there are no crocodiles, but I got the desired response). Snorkeling Whether you SCUBA or simply snorkel, the marine life is fantastic! This picture was taken with ambient light, while snorkeling. Na Pali Coast Sea Cave This is a view from inside a sea cave on the Na Pali Coast. I believe that this is the site of Captain Nemo's Grotto, from the old Disney movie "20,000 LEAGUES UNDER THE SEA". Na Pali Coast The Na Pali coast has been seen in many Hollywood movies: both versions of KING KONG, SIX DAYS AND SEVEN NIGHTS, JURASSIC PARK and many others. Hanalei Bay & pier Hanalei Bay is quite large and offers protected swimming and terrific surfing, beyond the reef. Hanalei Bay pier fun What's good about a pier, if you can't jump off of it! Nicole took repeated leaps. We just prepared to go in after her Aloha Take the jump and visit Kauai. We will help to make your visit special. Please call (480 831-0061) or E-mail me (alan@alanholly.com) to find out more about Kauai and our property.
